Ausara was founded by Shoson Thatawakorn and Jarupatcha Achavasmit in Bangkok. The atelier works at the crossing of craft, material research, and architecture, guided by a philosophy it calls Surface Alchemy: turning raw material into spatial experience.
Ausara is an atelier, not a production house. Material is tested and studied before it becomes form, treated as structure and presence rather than a finished product.
The practice began with architectural artworks for public spaces. That language now extends into hand-woven textiles and sculptural wallcoverings, one material language across public, architectural, and human scales.
